Your new Benefit Providers have taken effect as of January 1. If you were active in benefits in any given month from September to December 2017, you should have received a welcome package from NexgenRx with a pay direct card. Receiving a card does not necessary mean you are active in benefits as of January 1. Your eligibility is based on existing rules, so make sure you check if you are active by contacting the office at 705-805-5601 or registering online at NexgenRx.com, using the username and password you received in the mail. You will be able to see if you are active at this time.
ALL claims filed for Health and Dental are now to be submitted to NexgenRX as of January 1, including those services/drugs provided in 2017.
Disablility Claims will now be covered by Sun Life Financial. Contact Benefit Services at for applications and information on filing a claim.
Please note: Effective January 1, Short Term claims are now integrated with Employment Insurance. This means that you must first file sick benefits through EI. Any coverage not available through EI, will flow through Sun Life. Contact Benefit Services at for more information.
